Chef Jehangir Pledge is a new way to dine on campus. It’s holistic approach to create change in the world while supporting sustainability, social responsibility, health and wellness as well as building community creates a dining experience unlike anything before.
Every Thursday, The Chef’s Table at The Blue Wall will transform into the dining concept Pledge. Here diners will be challenged to take part in the “pledge of the day.” One day it may be to not drink water out of a single use bottle, where as another day may be to walk 10,000 steps. The goal of Pledge is to promote practices that will make everyone better global citizens while focusing on sustainability, social responsibility, health and wellness as well as building community.
In addition to the pledge, there will be a unique handcrafted and healthy menu that features:
Gleaned and Harvested Ingredients
Local, Sustainable seafood
Underloved Produce
Lean, Sustainable Proteins
Vegetable Forward Main Courses
Healthy Grains
In addition, several dining locations with the Blue Wall will feature a Pledge inspired meal during dinner time.
